Intermodal freight yard

I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on constructing a Intermodal freight terminal or logistic center near my seaport. Screenshots are helpful as well as other pics. This place will handle TOFC and COFC. I have some intermodal downloads like well cars, piggyback cars and have the gantery cranes and that little truck used in intermodal yards. Please help!

I made a port for containers and general goods in trs2006 by using 2 of the installed container stations end to end ,adding a couple of the container cranes,container forklift crane, and the 2 container ships.I`ll post some pics later if I can.The container stations cover 1 board and the tracks that go past it take up 2 boards to allow for a 50 car train. Something else that I`ve recently started using that might help is satelite view on google maps. At the very least you can see how to arrange it.

Thanks. I put a MIN track in between the 2 container terminals but I can`t get it to do what I want so I`m gonna take it out and operate it like you would a model train, instead of unloading/loading the cars I`m just gonna pull the train in and do the run around move and continue on since these trains commonly enter and leave a port loaded. I wanted the MIN to empty the train and then load the cars as they were when it came in but couldn`t do it.
Maybe I`ll add more tracks past it so I can have cars there waiting to swap with.

A few things:

Please take a good look at the topic before replying to it. This topic was over 5 years old, the Original Poster has not been on the forum for over 1.5 years and his latest (registered) version was TRS2004. It is dead, leave it to rest.
