For the ECML fans among us there is a very interesting web site called "The LNER Encyclopedia" (lner.info)
In the "Passenger Loco" thread, ex-railwaymen swop reminiscences from the old days of King's Cross Passenger Loco depot. There's lots of fascinating and very amusing stuff here. I also got some info from them regarding the Milk Depot at KX that I could not find anywhere else. There's also a link to some excellent aerial shots of KX in the 'fifties with Top Shed, etc., clearly visible.
