Industry Link (Kuid:122381:10007) Compatability with TS2009

Hey

The problem being expressed from the beginning

The industry link on a new route, I have tried placing two multiple industries,

On one I have selected "Coal" in the "Queues" Tab (so I will be handling coal), In the "Tracks" Tab I've selected "Unload from vehicle" (so now it will unload from the vehicle), I've left "Processes" Blank because I thought of doing a transfer station where it transferred loads of different loads to different trains. So, that means that the coal isn't going to be converted into another product. (Ill call this "Unload")

Next I move onto the Loading part of the industry.

I've set up the exact same configuration in the other multiple industry new except for the "tracks" tab which has been set to "Load into vehicle". (Ill call this "Load")

The industry link

Next, I place the industry link to link the two multiple industry new industries up.

I click on "Add product link".

I then click "none" under "From:" and select "Unload" (because I named it "Unload")

I then click on "none" below "To:" and click on "Load" (because I named it load)

Where the problem occoures

I then select "none" below "Product:" and Trainz simulator 2009 (the game I'm doing it in) crashes.

It's not like I've done anything wrong because I tried it the exact same in trainz classics 3 and it's successful.

Besides, I think the exact same problem happens with Spikesignal's version of TS2009

I tried to look for faults in CMP and there weren't any.

Given it's made for Trainz simulator 2004 I figured it was to do with the scripting and the fact that trainz simulator 2009 didn't like it.

Which leads me to another question, Does CMP locate script errors?

I Figured that before messing with anyone's script, I needed to ask permission to do so, I've read up on the forums that the original Author isn't online very much or at all.

So, I need some guidance on what to do now.

No posts?

I'm beginning to question if anyone knows how to help me solve my problem.

So... I ask: Does anyone know how to correct my problem? If not, just post in this thread if you're working on it or something (Because I could try to fix the problem if I had permission).

To be honest, I would like some feedback.

In TS2009, CMP does virtually no error checking with scripts.

I haven't played around with industry link, but I can't see why you would leave processes blank. I would try putting in a small consume rate over a long time period, to make sure the script isn't trying to divide by zero.

You can always consider it as the wasteage rate, all processes have waste afterall...

I leave processes blank because it's just transferring a load to another track, not changing it, if I would change it then I would have the processes filled in.

As far as I reckon, processes also has an exchange rate, but I don't know where to include the wastage or transfer rate (industries also have that).

But, as far as the solution goes, It has to be something with the get product function within the script because the asset works so long as the multiple industry hasn't got a product to assign.

For all we know, it could just be a simple fix.
