for a 'schematic' route, no scenery, is there a way to make a place name -- in the way that turnouts can be named and their name floats over the turnout -- permanently float over a town or any other rail destination?
i made some dedicated floating signs in 3dMax. they look pretty cool. i don't know how to make a 'board' though which allows text changing. i tried to follow 'type on huge sign' but my signboard won't be invisible, where it is so that the place signs i've made are simply the letters floating in air. which is what i want them to look like.
