importing 2010 content into 2012 sp1

i copied my .ja files over from my trainz 2010 to my trainz 2012 and entered my 2010 serial into 2012 so the content would be there in content manager, but now that im on 2012 sp1 and 2012 sp1 no longer supports .ja files, is what i imported still in there even though the files and serial are there or did my 2010 content become "unreadable" in 2012. if it did, is there a different way to import older .ja content? can the individual cmp's be extracted from the .ja files? thanks!!

Seems simple enough to figure out...go in-game and see if they are available to select...

If they are not, you can use TS2010..in CMP, save items as CDP. Then in TS12 SP1, import the CDPs...done.

Edit: If you use the CDP method to export/import, you do not need the serial number, because individual assets are not serial number protected, just the TS2010 .ja files as a whole.
