I'm just after some UK routes to look at so that I can plan a new project of my own.

I'm browsing the DLS at the moment, but I'm all ears to any reccommendations.

List names and Kuids, I know Gamerouche has done some good ones.

Hello Colin, well, I'm nearly the 40th person to read your thread so far, without a response, so I thought I'd help give u a few suggestions. They are in no order and I have downloaded all routes from these wonderful creators and can recommend them for their texturing, and Britishness...:hehe:

Sorry, if I've missed anybody really good off this list it was done in haste...:hehe:

These are all done in TRS2004 and 06, and a few new ones are done with TRS06 SP1. Should find loads of quality tips and understanding of our wonderful countryside, housing, industrialisations, and they are all done for diesel, steam and electric traction. I'm sure some of our narrow-guage and tram lovers will also chip in.

ECML South and Central are worth having, though rather early.I"m sure they have been updated and you get a 200 mile plus run.

Ken Whittington and I have put up a couple of UK routes, we are OAPs without the technical skills to design our own assets, but the routes are not bad with the emphasis on seeing trains running. Here are the kuids:
Horsted Keynes route 89560:1137
Horsted Keynes session 89560:1136
and a later extended version:
Lewes to East Grinstead route 89560:1259
Lewes to East Grinstead session 89560:1257
Hopefully the DLS will still be available as we are nearing completion with another route from Brighton to Horsham.

I"m sure someone has done the WCML as payware , though I"ve never seen a freeware route..

If you don't mind a little bit of American stuff, Cozmo (TM) has some TRULY FANTASTIC routes, expecially his Wisconsin Central.
