Illinois Trip

Howdy yall!

For one, let me start out, this is going to be a little travel Diary, for I am going to start my trip to Illinois tommaro. If this is in the wrong section, please, any admis out there, please move it becouse I dont know where this can go besides here.

Anyway, I will be taking my Camera, and I am taking a flash drive with the Forum's URL on it so I can hopefully update wherever I can. Places I plan on going once there in Illinois I know for a fact muesum wise will be the St. Louis Muesum of Transportation (dont know when though), and the Montecelo Muesum (Ill be there on Sunday!). Getting there from Texas My dad and I plan on getting on the TRE, and taking that to Ft. Worth, board the Texas Eagle and Ride her all the way to Springfield.

Well, Thats all I have for now! I will try to update tommaro or Saturday if I can.

You will not be disappointed, MRM is one of the nation's finest railway museums.
Please do not hesitate to ask for a showing of the shops, engine house and car barn. Be sure to stop by the engine shop and see Southern 401.
Ask about cab rides and be sure to have someone show you up in the engine!

Well, Im sorry I never had a chance to update while up there, but im back!

I must say, the entire time I was never realy far from a railroad track (Springfield or Pawnee) but the only good railroad parts were the train ride there and back, and Montecello. Holy cow! Montecello was uterly amazing! If you live near there, or are up by there sometime, and you have never been, I strongly suggest you go there.
