And i honestly don't want it. And i don't know where else to post. I was wondering would someone exchange with me something 1/3 of the cost of it?

It cost you nothing so 1/3 of the cost will be nothing :hehe:

Seriously though I think you may want to check the small print on the steam site as you may not be able to pass it on to another steam user and I'm pretty sure this may violate the Auran / NV3 (producers of Trainz) license agreement and is probably in breach of the COC on here .

Probably best to contact steam and or Auran/NV3 direct to see if they will allow it to be passed on seeing as it's a prize ?

no no no. I'm being misunderstood ebcause i didn't explain it right. I won a giftable copy of it. It is ment to be traded if I don't want it. I just can't find anyone whjo wants it so i decided to come here. It violates no agreement. It was from the christmas achievments on steam.

If it's giftable then it should be alright to pass on . Perhaps you should amend your first post and the thread title to be on the safe side .
the user will have to a be a steam user though that program can be installed for free.

And thank you for passing on to someone who will enjoy it :)

It may be, but the Steam Client must still be installed, as the Trainz files are managed by the client.

Geez, that is not how my TS2009 works! I can run it off my backup copy and the one on my old hard-drive in a dock. I even run my copy in Steam from the "bin launcher.exe". All without Steam being "live".

You guys probably screwed up TS12!

Harold

Might be due to the way that TS2009 has been modified so it is not updateable. Not sure about later versions, because if Steam do release a patch, then Steam needs to have the ability to manage the game.

Updating on Steam is a moot point, it took you guys two years to patch TS2009 on Steam. I found out about the Steam TS2009 patch on my old computer when I loaded up Railworks and Trainz updated. The user of Steam TS12 will probably have moved onto the next iteration of Trainz before the TS12 is updated on Steam.

The TS2009 on Steam is the best TS2009 though, has CM 3.3 and runs like TS2010 without Speedtrees.
