I own Trainz 2022, if I buy Trainz 2019, will the content from it get transferred to 2022?

I own Trainz 2022 on Steam, and I do not own Trainz 2019 at all. I noticed that the mega content bundle for Trainz 2019 is on sale on Steam. If I buy it, will the content be playable on Trainz 2022, or do I have to buy Trainz 2019 itself in order for it to work? Apologies if I did a bad job explaining that.

I am thinking that most if not all TRS19 content should work fine in 22.

That is a question for the Helpdesk using the Support link above. Not that long ago, the answer was no due to Steam DLC only being installed automatically into the Trainz version it was labeled for. For example, DLC labeled for TANE only installed into TANE. DLC labeled for TRS19 only installed into TRS19. This lead to the same DLC packages being labeled for different versions of Trainz. However, I understand that DLC purchased through Steam now is made available through the in game Content Store for installing into any version with which it compatible. But I would verify before purchasing.

YES! You could also purchase TANE and do the exact same thing.
Make sure that you sign into Trainz first.

You will need to install TRS19 so that you can go into the Content Store, make sure that you log into Trainz account before you to. Go to the Purchased tab
Click on all the DLCs 'one at a time' and note down the steam:xxxxxxxxxx ID, you need to make a note of these so you can search for them in TRS22 Content Store | Purchased list as the DLCs may only appear in the list as steam:xxxxxxxxxx and you have no clue what they are.
