I need help with cmp

Depends on which version you're using and the format of item. If the assets file has a .cdp extension you can double click it and it should load into TRS2004 or TRS2006.

If the asset is in a folder named like this:
kuid xxxxxx yyyyyy

For TRS2004 just move the folder to the ..\TRS2004\World\dispatcher\downloads folder then delete the ..\TRS2004\Cache\world_cache_dispatcher.chump file so it will show up.

For TRS2006 you use CMP and select File/Import Content then commit it so it will show up.

Could you please tell me how to comit it

In the upper left corner of CMP click on 'File'. Then click on 'Settings'. Click on the 'Miscellaneous' tab. Underneath 'When Launching Trainz' you'll see 'Automatically Commit'. Click on the white dot beside it.
Save it.
Then when you launch Trainz from CMP, anything downloaded will be automatically committed. You'll see the Launch Trainz icon just to the left of the ? icon.
Also when you clicked on 'File' you may have seen the 'Import CDPs' and 'Import Content' under 'Settings'. This may answer your other question.

Thanks but i cant get them to show in the game still

I presume you have these files saved in a folder on your PC.

Open Content manager and go to file (top left) when you put the curser on file you should see a list click on import cdps and then import the files you want.

then highlight them all and commit.

This should solve your problem.

how do you click on commit like?

What i do is i download and save it then i go into cmp file and import cdp's i get the one i want and click open the box comes op with exit and viw in main list i click on view in main list. I have also been into settings and told it to commit the files but when i open trainz it is not there what should i do ?

There should be a tab at the top of CMP called open for edit. If there are any files in here, then select them using CTRL & A, and the presws CTRL & M to commit them.

If they are not showing in trainz, then you may have missing/faulty dependencies. If this is the case, then next to the item in CMP will be an icon that looks like a piece of a puzzle with a ? in it. Right-click on the item and choose show dependencies. This will list all of the dependencies, and you should be able to search for any missing ones.

none are faulty

Is the item you downloaded compatible with your version of Trainz? The best why to get help for specific problems is to post the kuid number that you're having a problem with. Someone may have already solved it or we will try our hand at it.

Plus its all the things i try to download

If you have a .cdp file have you tried to use CMP/File/Import CDP function? What results?

If you don't have a .cdp file to try, use ftp to download one directly from the DLS then try importing.
