From your first post to this post has only been 10 minutes. I've had it take a couple of days to a week or so before I've had responses to some of my threads. You must give people a chance. And for most people if they feel they have nothing of value to add to your thread then they don't usually post. Most people here will offer suggestions and other help if you be patient. If you into route building post some screen shots of your work in the "screenshots" section of this forum and ask for opinions. If you have ideas on how someone might improve upon their route or content then by all means post in their threads and offer them suggestions. Just make sure you do it in a respectable way.

Well, unless you're me. I've had this annoying afflicition for ages where I manage to kill (almost) every thread I post in. And without resorting to typical North American forum behavior like screaming nonsensical streams of gibberish or posting annoying pictures.

That is because you are put on everybody's ignore lists by default.
Try to relax and have fun. It takes awhile to get into the flow of things here. This is your first day and as was said, many of us have been asleep.
It took me 2 or 3 months before I really felt like I was being ignored, so you've got a ways to go. Have fun and welcome to Trainz and the forum.

Hey, it happens. I have several old posts from months ago without a single response. It depends on who is here and how many are here. And if you search the forums a little bit, you will find many topics have been covered by the veterans many many times, and a few seem to get tired of them. I know I'm guilty of asking things like that at times too. I'm sure that a lot of times if you have ideas and you feel no one cares for them, it may just be that the particular subject matter does not pertain to what whoever is trying to accomplish at that given time. Like any other forum, there are smart a**es, but most will help if they can. Even the wise guys. Then there are folks like me. I've been using Trainz for over a year, but I'm far from a pro. I help if I can, reply if I know what I'm talking about (I think), and I try to look for things that have already been covered if I need answers...... Most of the time.

Railways are of universal interest all over the world. There is much to talk about.
I live in the U.K. am ex railwayman, and railroads in other countries make a very interesting study.
