I'll see something cool on some route or in some post on the forum and think, "wow I'll have to get that later". Sure enough I forget all about it and a month or two later I'll want it and I didn't download it and I can't find it. Grrr!

In the last month or so someone posted a mention of a really nice early diesel box engine they had created. I've searched and searched and I can not find it.

Hello normhart, I have the same trouble as you. What I do is go to thread tools and send an email to myself, which generates a link to the post, which I keep.
