Let's see, waits, waits, waits, waiting, waiting & waiting!

I can't leave a comment on the home page, as it is even a lot slower. I did try to leave, but it was taking too long, that I had to close down & re-open the brower.


So where is the "improved" forum?

This is more like an "un-improvement", and even going backwards.

The What's New? tab makes it look like what is new to the forum, not that it is just New Posts

The slowness makes a very late and slow CityRail (& equivalents) look fast!
This slowness is going to be even worse if you look at the forum via a public computer.

The title is a lot smaller when making a post. It should be the same size as the normal size writing in the post.

And I just had this auto-saved pop up for the forum.

The previous forum design was much better, and much easier on the eyes. It now looks too "cartoonish".

The effort should have been to improve the slow called Download Help/Content Manager areas.

And while typing away at the bottom right, the auto-saved gets in the way.

I would post a thumb down smiley, but they are not big enough!

Edit: Where is the "UCP" which showed the latest posts that you posted in?

You may have a point there Red Rattler. Having not been able to reach here until the 5th I must confess, nicely of course, that I couldn't see why it was needed to "change" the Forums?

I'm still waiting for the improvements, not the "un-improvements"!

An "improved" forum would have automated signature sizes, where it automatically resizes the images.

As stated before, it's hard to read, and is a backward step, I mean backward steps.

Even the reply, go advance reply isn't now user-friendly. And now more steps are needed.

I agree, the new forums makes me eyes squint even up close. It looks a lot cleaner then before but I hope there will be a new gadget where you can change the forum colors to your ideal or change the contrast to a better color then this...The contrast on this is just horrid. I do enjoy the Auto-Save though!

Most good monitors have a contrast adjustment option (mine does), it's not hard to adjust the contrast to a personal setting & only takes a second or two.
