Howd yall.

Howdy yall. I have been using trainz since at least trainz 2004. I am currently between computers and trainz 2010, I am hoping to get trs2010 in the very near future.
Any who I am a newly converted BNSF fan. I have been an Espee fan forever and will always be. But I have gotten tired of the class one railroad in my neck of the woods (Natron Cutoff and Syskiue line in Oregon) so I have started watching BNSF on videos and what not. I apprecieate the fact that they still have a bunch of SD40-2, SD45-2, SD9 etc still running on their system.
I look forward to chating with some of yall and seeing whats going on these days.
Regards,
Joshua.

Hi. You should register each serial number (a.k.a. CD key) for all of your Trainz versions in your profile. To do this, click the "Serial Number" button at the top of this page, and follow the directions. Repeat for each version of Trainz that you have and its serial number. The serial number (a.k.a. CD key) is the exact same code that you had to enter when you installed Trainz. ;)

Anyway, welcome to the forums! :D

Regards.

Hello Joshua,
Welcome to this forum; I am 62 and have travelled over most of the US of A and not once except in books or films have I seen anyone write Howdy yall. Please excuse me; but what do you mean, by since at least trainz 2004? I’ve checked and I cannot find any version of Trainz that has ever been registered to you. Nor can I find over the last ten years any profile you have had with Auran. I am a Welshman so I speak the truth but I wonder about you. Forgive me if I insult you but at least get an Auran profile and register a version of Trainz. And most of all leave the Howdy yall alone; for you insult the glorious south.

Belkenn

I would get the computer first, were it me...

Anyway, I hope you get your problems sorted and your registrations done so you can get a proper welcome here, pseudo Southern syntax not withstanding.

First I will apologize if I was miss leading. What I meant was that I don't have any versions of trainz right now. I am just saving my pennies till I am able to get trainz 2010. I did have trainz 2006. But I some how lost the profile/password that had the serial number registered under.
I just started a new profile JoshuaBNSFfan1984 today.
In regards to howdy yall, thats just the way I am. I am not trying to hide any thing nor am I lying about anything. I am just a railfan who likes big heavy powerful engines on flanged wheels.:D

You will need a really good laptop to run 09/10

A fairly high end desktop also to run 09/10

A upgrade to a better than factory video card in most cases.

04/06 still runs on pretty low end PC's ... but you need a FCT for those versions

If you at least remember your old username, then there probably is a "Forgot your password?" option on the login page for you. ;)

And yes, TS2010 would likely require some good computer specifications, something that my laptop does not have with its sorry 1 gigabyte (alright, it is only 800-some megabytes, blame the silly computer companies for that ;)) of memory.

Regards.

Well I have no idea what my profile name was. Plus I couldn't remember what I had on the auran site and on the Trainz Launcher.
Yeah I want to get a computer. I was looking at like a new dell or HP.

Do you still have TRS2006 (EDIT: Or any other version of Trainz that you have had continuously installed since your last acount) installed continuously since your last account? Well, if so, you might be able to look in a file and get your old Trainz User ID, which will lead you to your old username. ;)

Regards.

Sadly :'( the only trainz game I have right now is on a computer that was ravaged by a virus. Plus the game itself is somewhere in a box in storage.:'(
Thats okay for now. I can just hang out and admire the great things that are going on in the world of trainz, knowing that some time in the not to far distant future I will be able to join in on the festivities.

Funny, in another thread on this forum you are asking about moving boxcars around. Just why would you ask that if you don't have a computer or trainz installed?
