How to take screenshotz in TANE

Hello All --

In TANE I use alt-F L U -- This works in TR12 just fine, where as you can scroll anywhere -- But in TANE, it doesn't allow you to scroll at all!

Any guidance is welcome!

No clue what F L U does in TS12, but making a screenshot in both TS12 as TANE is done by pressing the "print screen" button.

The '4' key gives you a free roaming view in drive and screenshots can be captured, viewed and published from the Capture Screenshot option (film style icon) top right hand corner of the menu bar. Peter

Hi O --

Example using alt-F L U --- Let say that you are taken a screenshot of a trainz yard -- it will show the junctions, vertexes connection, etc .... when you use alt F L U the junctions, vertexes, etc disappears, thus taken the screenshot using the printscrn without these effects. -- The proble here using this method we can't scroll like in TR12, etc

To adjust your up-down position slightly, use the shift-key. It allows for smaller increments and is really helpful in getting the proper height.

As far as taking screenshots while using the ALT-Y command, this doesn't work properly and N3V is aware of it. The alternative is to use the built-in to Windows Snipping Tool and capture your image and save it.

Once you take a screenshot, where does it go? Where do you find them? How can you use them?

It's in your screenshots folder just like always in your data folder.

There is no screenshots folder though until you snap your first one though.

To look for your screen shots folder...

Start T:ANE, or go back to the Launcher
At the Launcher click on settings.
Click on Install tab.

The path shown in the box is where T:ANE data is located. I put mine in F:\TANE_DATA Yours is going to be different.

Highlight that path in the box.
Press Copy
Open up Windows Explorer
In the bar above your list of folders where it shows Quick Access, etc., paste the path in there.

If this doesn't work for you, don't struggle and note the path and go there; sometimes it's faster doing stuff the old way.

Use the mouse to rotate, hold down right mouse button and move the ground.

Thanks Malc! ;)
