how to stop time + season change in 2010

hi

i have a huge drama in the every time i open the new route i am building,
it changes the time,
usually to night time
and also the seasons change from opening to opening

is there a way to stop this in 2010?

Not sure quite why it's doing that but I'd guess you have different times and seasons set in route and session layers. Always work in session layer and if working on scenery, First change from session to route layer.(the book 5 down)
Only use session layer for things relevant to that session.eg Trains, trackmarks, triggers etc etc.
What you need to do is check the time and date in each session layer and then alter the route to the same. You don't need to change the enviroment setting in the main route at all. Hope this helps.

the problem is that there is only 1 session

i place all the roads, houses and whatever,
then once a day i merge session to the route to get it in there

Hmm, have you tried to go to the Main menu > Environment dialog and check if the button that advances time quickly is off (don't know the exact term used there of the top of my head). When off, set the time to a moment you want on the big clock there and save route and session.
There's one caveat, time does advance while building a route too. So from time to time you need to reset the time again, unless you want to build at night of course. :hehe:

Ah but your'e in ipswitch which can have cloudy days. Doesn't count with the perfect thing they spout.
