I just went to the Transdem site. The directions said to indicate your name for bookkeeping and for creating your personal registration key when ordering. I see he has his email address. When I click on the address, a windows mail comes up showing his email address. What would I put in the Cc. My name or email address. Do I have to put anything in the body of the email under order. Do I have to use Windows Mail instead of Gmail? How long would it usually take for him to reply back?

You probably do not need to put anything in the CC box.
As for the message subject, leave that as-is, unless Roland has requested that the subject be changed.
As for the message body, you probably just need to state your name.
If you are not sure, it's best to wait for geophil to see this thread.

I somehow got windows mail and gmail working together, so now, I can also use windows mail. Back to the transdem website, I clicked on his email which led to the box that says order. Where it says Cc, I put my email there. Then I sent it. Now I am just waiting for geophil to reply back on instructions for transdem.
Anytime you e-mail, the recipient can see your address. It is not necessary to enter your e-mail at all.steamboateng

Pleased to see you decided to purchase TransDEM. Once you get the hang of it, this is one program you won't regret buying. There is usually one or two TransDEM literate Trainzers lurking about the Forums to assist with questions. Congrats and Good Luck!
Geophil is on holidays so he is not able to send me Transdem now. Probably when he comes back. For now, I am using the Suffern-Port Jervis Metro North WOH/ NJT route DEM made by Fishlipsatwork as practice so when i really use Transdem, I'll know a bit of the ins and outs of this interesting program.
