How to go about!!!!

Hi

Can someone tell me How To Install Addon Layouts, and Locos....I can't find a Tutorial for this and am totally confused..Thank You.

PS: I have Traiz 2006....

In 2006 you would use CMP (Content Manager Plus) to download and install add ons. You may want to direct the manager to Automatically Commit downloaded content on start up of game. You can do this in the settings section.

Content should show up in game unless it's missing dependencies or faulty.

Go to your Trainz directory eg; - D:\TRS2006\Docs\manuals_cd\manuals - (assuming your Trainz directory is on D: drive). Default directory off memory is C:\Program Files\TRS2006\Docs\manuals_cd\manuals
Click on Docs, then manuals_cd, then manuals. That will bring up the TRS2006's PDF manual.

Scroll down to; 17 Content Manager Plus - (The Download Station and Downloading)...
I'd recommend anyone running 06-09 to read the entire manual if they really want a better understanding of how the sim works... (a lot of reading, but well worth it).

Thank you guys.....I will start my reading as soon as I find the PDF Manual.
I am thinking on getting 2009 but not until I understand how to go about using so many downloads. Sorry that it is so difficult for dependencies missing etc...in Flight Sims is so easy in three minutes you can usually learn all downloading and installation of addons....Oh well, trains are trains and I really want to get on with this hobby..............Gracias to all.

Try the FTP link at the DLS, then go to "recent items" on your computer, select the download. It will open CMP, commit.
