I deleted 2 sessions from my own TRS2006 layout and when I opened Content Manager I found them there sporting a question mark. I cannot figure out how to delete them from Content Manager. Can someone give me a clue???

I also have two different Colorado Valley routes that I would love to merge into one. Dont know how to do that either.

In TS2010 I would just right click on the sessions and select Delete. Doesn't that work in T2009?

Maps are merged in Surveyor. From the main menu, select Merge Route and follow the instructions.

Be careful what you wish for.

Exactly what do you mean by "merge" when you say that you have two "different" routes???

Merging is designed to let you join the end of one route onto the end of another to create a larger joined route -assuming baseboard heights are compatible where the join or merge will occur.

In trs2009 you can not delete built in sessions which makes me mad so I wish could delete them but how?

Hi Jaymom,

John has it right, but to clarify in case you don't know how. Right click the item in CMP, search down the box that opens and left click on disable. the item sould then show in CMP with a red cross in a circle.

Cheers,

Bill69...thanks. I dont have it showing up in Driver or Surveyor but it does remain in CMP and I was wondering if there was a way to delete it from CMP.

Your downloaded content is stored in separate folders in the local folder so you can delete them totally. Builtin assets are stored in one compressed .ja file so you can't delete just part of a file. If you had the software program that Auran uses to create the .ja file you could possibly edit out parts you don't like and re-write the .ja file. However, that capability doesn't exist.

I suspect we already have that tool - trainzutil.exe. However, the magical incantations required for .ja file editing are probably likely to remain in auran's tight control.

Besides, doing that would break patches/service-packs from working. Disabling the content is far better for everyone.

I had the same issue with TRS2006. I created a new session for Phil Skene's excellent HarborMaster2a and deleted it. When I went into CMP and right clicked on the Harbormaster2a asset and selected "Show dependant assets", I saw the existing sessions but the one I had deleted had a question mark next to it.

I exited CMP, deleted the assets.tdx file and then ran CMP again and waited while it re-built the assets.tdx file for 24 GB of assets. 15-20 minutes later, CMP showed up on my screen. I select Harbormaster2a and viewed the dependant assets and my deleted session was gone.

I deleted the session since I noticed a strange anomaly when configuring MIN. I added a product and then a second product. Then I deleted the first product and reviewed the tabs to see the one product showed for Queues, Tracks and Processes. But the fourth tab Products was still showing two products. I have no clue how to remove the first product from the Products tab in the MIN properties window.
