How on Earth do you straighten a bridge spline!?!?!?!!

I am using FP Bridge Trestle (the one without a walkway) and I have YR bridge track as the bridge track. I got the YR track in place and straightened, but the bridge spline is refusing to be straightened. This has happened before with catenary splines. How do I straighten this spline?

You might not be able too. Have you ever been able to straighten the asset in question?

Here is one way, a trick ... Lay regular single track line with all straights and curves ... Then holding the shift key lay a bridge, nearby, independent of the single track straight section ... slide the bridge track over top of single straight track ... then adjust the bridge track height so that it is just a hair hiding underneath the single track.

@Cascaderailroad, That's what I was doing, but I couldn't straighten it.

@Benjaminw, I am not sure about that spline. I can't remember off the top of my head.

Some splines become stubborn if they are raised to a height of 10 metres or more, making it difficult to do very much at all with them.

Try reducing the height to 9.9 metres, or less, when it should be possible to make adjustments. Failing that, delete and re-lay the bridge; then do all of your straightening etc., leaving the final height adjustments until last.

It's set at 0.0 meters, and the river bottom is set to -10.00.

You just lay a fake bridge ... it will be straight ... and never connect the bridge to the actual running track.

Exactly. They are 2 different things. The track and the spline.
