How do you find objects in CM or the DLS?

I don't mean searching when you know the kuid, the actual object name or the author. That's easy.

I mean I have an object in mind and wonder if someone already made something similar? I could try some keywords and hope the creator had the same idea. I could scroll through countless objects in the same category, hoping it was classified correctly and perhaps find something. Or I could bother the readers here to see if anyone remembers seeing such an object.
To bad the Trainz database doesn't have someway to add user created tags so if I happened to notice something interesting for a future map, I could flag it to make it easier to find again. One way might be to great a bunch on Picklists to store potential candidates, until I have too many Picklists.

Download everything that might even vaguely be like the asset you're looking for and (assuming the asset(s) are not locked against editing) add a category-keyword tag with the value "interesting" for those that are. Use AssetX to do that in bulk if you have a stack of interesting assets.
