how do you do multiplayer

To be able to play multiplayer, you will need a newer version of Trainz. Either get the 2010 MP (dont know the exact name) or simply get the latest: Trainz12.
With 2006, you wont be able to play multiplayer.

Your other post suggest that you have 12. In that case, the problem might simply be that you did not register it to your account yet.

Are you running a MAC? If you bought the game from the app store, you shouldn't have to register it, it should do so automatically, but there may be a lag in the process, I don't know for certain.

The Mac App Store version of Trainz, according to N3V, should automatically register when your Planet Auran username and password are entered into the Options box. (Click Options on the Launcher to access this).
