First up, have you looked at it in CMP? It may well show errors. I'm pretty sure it did when I first downloaded it. Check it and let us know.

Now, there's a good question.

Open up CMP, and in the search box, open the dropdown and select 'author' from the list. Add peterdhicks in as the author and that should show you everything you need. To narrow it down a bit more, click on + and select 'name' from the dropdown and add GNER and that should display the relevant 91, Mk4s and DVT.

Let me know if you're stuck.

Don't give up, it takes a bit of patience but you'll be fine.

Now, where did you save it to when you downloaded from Peter's site? Go to whatever the location is and I think you should find some CDP files there (they usually have an orange icon). You need to unpack these or rather, double click on them and they should unpack themselves into your CMP. Even if CMP isn't open, the files will cause it to open automatically and commit the assets.

As ever, let me know how this goes.

It justt comes up with a window asking me to select what program to open the file with. They are zipped folders.

after you unzip the files you should see the .cmp file. when i dbl click on that it generaly ( so far everytime for me) automaticly starts content manager.

If you are using TRS2006 or above, another method of importing is to use the Import CDP/Import Content options in Content Manager

Import CDP - use if the files are .cdp files (the ones with orange/yellow icons)
Import Content - use if it's a content folder or folders with config.txt files (among other files) inside.

EDIT: If you right-click a compressed file and choose Extract All, a wizard should appear: simply follow the wizard to unzip the files.

Ahh, then unzip them and you should find the CDPs which you will then be able to do as I advised perviously. Don't give up on them as they're cracking assets.

We'll get you there eventually... Hehe.

And where exactly in content manager do i find these import options? There is no extract all for some reason.

You need a program on your computer first that can unzip them, go to WWW.download.com and grab one of the many available. Then you can unpack the compressed file to your desktop. Then open CM and in the top left "file" tab, choose "import CDP" from the drop down menu.

If you are using Windows XP or later,a seperate program is not needed for unzipping zip files - the built in Compressed(Zipped) folders tool will do it.

The Extract All command will appear if you right-click the zip file.
