How do I make a Train stall?

I want to make a Train stall. I want to know, how to do that. I have Trainz 09.

Our local town has an outdoor market twice each week. It has several stalls.

How many trains are you thinking of selling?

I’m sure you really do mean something else. Can you define what you mean by a “stall” to clear up any misunderstanding?

Please to excuse the humor of my colleagues above, they were at my Christmas Party last night, and had a few too many, if you know what I mean.

I think to make the train stall, you must drive in cab mode, as the DCC physics are not the most realistic.

Apologies if some of our British humour came over as a little unkind. It was certainly not the intention to cause any offence.

I also think Euphod’s explanation will provide the answer now that the “stall” thing is fully understood.

By the way, I deny any association between Euphod’s Christmas party and my response. The singing of three chorus’s of ‘Nellie Dean’ and being sick in a bucket last night was more to do with the horrendous journey to the venue than the amount of alcohol consumed.

Please be aware that I have asked for that over tightly curved viaduct, and excessively fast rail line up to his new place to be properly signalled, immediately cleared of snow and speed regulated.

For AI Driver...

For an AI driver, order both pantographs lowered. If there's a subsequent order to go somewhere on the schedule, the driver will raise the front one again, but in the meantime there will be a sharp loss of speed and some run-in of slack. (This also works with diesels - don't know about steamers. Since there's no HUD panto button on diesels, you have to issue the command via driver commands.)

Trains don't stall they stop and start spinning. If you want your trains to stall put some grease on the tracks then watch them spinning!

I pull a 19,000 ton train over Marias Pass with 7 sd70ace up front and 2 in the middle and 2 on the back and it doesn`t stall

You will have to forgive some of my fellow Trainzers. They are normally sensible but unfortunately they have been to one Christmas party too many! As for your question I can only add, a single locomotive with a heavy enouth train, on a steep enough gradient will have the desired effect. I will leave the maths up to you.
