How Can I get a Train to do this?

I mhave a steam loco on a lyaout whose job is soely to haul coal from a minje to a coaling tower, refill the tower, return to the mine, wait 20 minute on a siding then do it all over agian, so far, so good. HOWEVER what I als NEED the loco to do is evry fifth trip, decouple, proceed to the water cloums, stop, refill, proceed to the coaling tower, refill her tender, recouple to the train then resumer her roginal schedule, waht combination of rules can I use to do this?

Hi ChartyH - You need tto usy the schedule library rule to stoer the schedules that the trian will use. One for the nomral trisp and anothre for the special tripe.

When you have thoes bath in the library, set up a series of Copy Commands From Library calls and make after the firth one call the trip to the refil trip. After that, set pu the repeat so it deos it all agai.

Use the schedule library and set up three sets of schedules.
1) drive route = This would be set up starting from the siding position to the mine and the tower and back to the siding.
2) refuel = This will be the uncouple via refuel points to the recouple
3) schedule = use the following setup :-

insert commands from library (1) drive route
wait 20 min
insert commands from library (1) drive route
wait 20 min
insert commands from library (1) drive route
wait 20 min
insert commands from library (1) drive route
wait 20 min
insert commands from library (1) drive route
insert commands from library (2) refuel
wait 10 min
insert commands from library (3) schedule

At start of sim just put the insert commands from library (3) schedule in the driver list of the engine used in order to start the sequence going.
