Hog Map Maker Here

I greatly appreciate you doing this for us. Are you finding a limiting factor in the request before the file gets too big for you to attempt. (i.e "x" number of miles, type of terrain etc?) This way if you set some parameters we might know what to reasonably ask for.
Thank you once again,

Miguel

I'm just starting to learn DEM/HOG and find it slow going. Finding elevation data is hit & miss. I've been trying to work on the CSX W&A Sub line from Chattanooga to Atlanta. This might also be a big undertaking but, if you like punishment, I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thank you,

Miguel

This line is finished...Look for a PM with the download links.:)

Hi there,
Great to see someone doing this, although i think you might get a little swamped:hehe: Would you be able to do the 90miles or so from Edwards to Salida in Colorado? Always wanted to do the route over the Tennessee pass but never had the maps for it...

Thanks:)

Your route is done. It looks pretty interesting I must say. I'll be PMing you with the download links.

Well, believe it or not I'm about caught up.:Y: I'm still waiting on some information from two people.

Any other request out there?

Last Call!

Are you sure there is no other request for Hog maps out there? It's free! Act now before I go back to working on the Laurel Line and this opportunity will be lost forever.:D

WAIT!

I have one, The route owned by the BNSF Railway Going from Williams JCT in AZ to Phoenix, AZ. Thank you for what you are doing my friend! :D Some people arnt tallendetd enough to make there own DEM's (me) :hehe: thanks again LWVRR

It's on the "to do" list!

Thanks for taking the time to do the map for me but either I'm tripping out or somethings not quite right here:hehe: The route installed fine but came up as faulty with the error being that it didn't recognize the build number, so i changed it in the config from 3.3 to 3.1 this got rid of the error and i got the map to load in Trainz. However this is what i see:

Not sure if what i did is causing this but its dark all the time and the weather tab thingo has no needle on it to adjust. It weird and ive never seen it before, has anyone else?

The Tennessee Pass is closed today as it was too expensive to run and maintain, instead the traffic takes the Moffat route though the rockies. all the track and signalling is still in place however i dont think the route has seen a train in a while.
I reckon it would be a great route to "trainz" as theres a bit of everything, fantastic scenery, big trains and massive power:) If your interested in the route here are some pics,

Edit: Got the route to work normally by creating a new route and merging it to that, its all sorted now i think, thanks again mate:)

2nd Edit: Another slight problem i thought i'd tell you; the summit of Tennessee Pass is at 3105meters, and i've just realized the maximum height you can reach in trainz for any fixed spline point is... yep 3000 meters (facepalm) is there a document anywhere where this number is stored that i can change? Another option might be to lower the entire route by 1000meters, would you be able to do that?

The route was made in ts2009 sp4...I take it that your TS2009 is not up to SP4? I don't know how you managed to fix that.

If there is a problem with the height I can fix it. I can lower the layout through Hog. Let me know.

Yeah I'm up to SP3, i figured SP4 looked like it caused more problems then solved. I just went into the config file and changed the build number.
If you could lower the entire route by 1000m and send me the links again that would be great and it would mean i'd be able to lay tracks over the summit.

No problem, I'll put it on my list. It shouldn't take long.
