Hiding the Driver Schedule Bar at session start

It is easy enough to hide the Driver Schedule Bar at the bottom of the screen using the [6] key but is there a way to hide it when setting up a session so that it is not visible when the session starts? The same question can also apply to the other 'default' panels which appear at the start of a session.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
