Hey FCT question!

I got a fast ticket today.. just got it 30 seconds ago. It's activated however the problem is that it says "Sorry but the server appears full"

Thats BS..?

Whats going on?

Help!
 
It says on the website when you activate it that it will take up to TWEANTY FOUR (24) hours for the servers to be updated.

Go into your profile at Planet Auran and change your password (you can use the same one you use already) save it and your ticket should work (weird or what?)

And don't believe anything that it says on the website. If you do nothing then you could still be waiting this time next year.

I installed Trainz 2010 and it was soo bad I had to go back to Trainz 2006 lol
 
did the same thing today. Bought a ticket, in my case I checked in and it said it was activated but I can still only download at 4.2 kbs which was the same speed I had before the purchase.
 
Why does it only let me download 100MB per day? Thats stupid..

With a fast ticket I should be allowed to download as much as possible.. You gotta be kidding me

Thats because the servers haven't fully updated yet.

This takes up to 24 hours?

Yes it can do and longer at weekends, although my last one was up and running in 45 minutes.
I believe it's done manually, also you may need to clear anything you added to the download list prior to activating before the new speed kicks in as that will probably still be at the old speed. Clear the list exit CM and restart and it ought to be OK.

Belk, Do you have any answers to the problem? I'm stuck at 100MB. However I was able to get it moving quickly..
 
Will check it out for you Mr Inn and let you know tomorrow. And I shall not be put out in doing so. I myself had lots of help on the forum and if I can pay that back by helping someone then I am more than happy to do such.

No I do not work for Auran yet I have been around here helping people with their FCTs before you were part of this community. The information I provided here is the same information that is provided to the user by Auran when they activate an FCT, which most people overlook. The 24hr wait for FCT activation has been around since the introduction of FCTs. I never Said that because I was a member of a content creation team (the logo) it means I'm better qualified to answer questions about a FCT; I'm not sure where you pulled that diatribe from. I am not trying to put people down (I'm not sure where you read that either) I'm just providing them with information about the FCT activation process.

Do you work for Auran as I know most of the people working there and your name has never come up. What makes you more qualified to answer Inn then myself or Clam1952?

Peter can you explain then why I was able to download items quick but not get by the 100MB limit?
 
Because the server is not finished updating. Right now your in sort of a mid point in the transition. If your really anxious to get downloading send a message to the helpdesk where a administrator can look into the status of your account.

I stand by what I have said Peter. You just repeat what Auran says. I have never had a FCT that has been activated to the extent of allowing me to download by Auran within 24 hours. There is a fault with this there always has been and it’s about time that Auran correctly activates tickets without the need to refresh ones profile. As for you not putting people down. Just try and put yourself in a new member’s position and stop sprouting Auran’s "For the press handouts"; are you hoping to do it enough that they may give you a job?

Unfortunately there is usually a large backlog of tickets, so may take a few days to get a reply.

Meanwhile.......... have you tried exiting Trainz completely and then restarting it? that cleared it for me on the last but one FCT I had, which was stuck on the 100MB limit.
