So when is it going to get a run around the Edgeworth Live Steam layout?

Then I can come out and have a look.

A certain member (who shall remain nameless!!!!!) has film of AD6039 Beyer Garratt (or was it 29 - my post is on "hold" while I check - yep it's 39) hauling a group of FO type verandah carriages in 19(cough, cough)

If its be about Model engineering then a certain person (cough, cough) would like to see a pic. Ise be a member of York Model Engineers. Sorry about the Ises. You can tell I'm bored.

All I can say is a 5" model of an AD60 exists and is able to be run on steam.

As to when it will run and where I do not know, except for a certain event around this time next year.
I will have more info when I see it next year.

I assume you know how to drive it:rolleyes:
Have you ever been to Orange before???

Its just a small-ish track but a great run as it has plenty of grades, plenty of straights and plenty of curves:D

A very well-known model engineer.

He used to do model engineering work for people but has since retired.

His last engine EVER is a D59 of which he is building 2 one for him and one for a paying customer;)

Prefer to drive 12 inch to the foot scale live steam but 5 inch will do, do I know how to drive it, think so, have in fact driven on the Orange track before.

I drove a round there on a bloody big cane outline loco that belonged to Peter the Bricky form Bathurst.

Not as bad when I was roped into be involved on a 24 hour non stop run at Bathurst and it was the middle of winter started to ran about 3am and the cold rain hit the bolier sight class in the cab and due to the sudden cooling effect it shattered the glass. Not alot of fun.

Used to Work with Dick Adams in the old days at/of Southen Mitchell County Council.

Would have that been JoJo by any chance???
