Help with curved stations

Hello all I am working on a route and noticed I didn't have any curved stations.I want to make things interesting that just straight platforms stations.I use spline objects. Is there a tutorial on how to layout a curved platform spline along with invisible station? Pictures or and videos will be appreciated.

Yep, platform splines are usually included in scenery splines (the same section where road splines are found). It's usually the second button on the top of the Scenery tab.

When laying curved platforms I find it easier to lay the track first, and then the platform, adding spline points to bend it to the curvature of the track.

Putting a passenger carriage on the track also helps for correct alignment and clearance, which also helps to make it look 'right' (plus also making sure the gap isn't too big for your virtual passengers - you never know when one might fall into a big gap and then sue your railway :p).

One way would be to use left- and right-hand platform ends/slopes with spline attachment points, and matching platform splines. Lay the ends/slopes at different angles, the desired distance apart, and add the platform spline. If the curve is not satisfactory, manipulate the ends/slopes until it is.

RE Curved stations

I was fooling around on http://nycsubway.org/ and came across references to the problem with curved high-platform stations, since track and platforms can bend but railcars cannot. I believe London Underground has the same problem at certain stations - is this where the British phrase "mind the gap" originated?

The only true metro system I am quite familiar with is Chicago (but from 30 years ago) and I believe Chicago has no curved "L" stations, but if I am wrong please correct me.

Yea here in NYC there are several curved stations elevated, underground and opencut.Out of all of them 2 stations have gap fillers the rest have a bigger gap than regular platforms but its not a safety hazard since the announcements say watch the gap etc...
