Hello,

I have a little request: please, can someone download this kuids from DLS and send them to me? I have unknown problem which is not allowing me to download items with weight more than 2.9 MB:(

Keep in mind that downloading them from the DLS and then mailing them to someone else will be in many cases illegal.
Note that I did not check the licenses for the individual objects.

It might be better in the long run to find a fix for your download problem.
 
Tell us what's wrong with the assets? Perhaps we can help you... It maybe version related or some other issue.
 
If you do not have a First Class Ticket to make downloading faster then you might be suffering from the problem where the download bar stops after the assets download but they do not install. Check in the TS12/Userdata/cache/internet folder, they will probably be stored there, they will not have meaningful names but the date and time shown on the file(s) will help you to identify the required file. Click and drag them into CM or use import CDP from the Menu.
 
Per Post #5, check the status of your FCT if you have one. I had the same problem last night and I went to the "black pages" and noticed that my FCT had expired. 2006 used to give us the expiration date of the FCT in the CM. 2010 does not, and I'm not sure about TS12.

That`s my problem! Thanks, i`ll try your method :)

EDIT: solution is not helped, alway when i`m trying to install CDPs from TS12/Userdata/cache/internet folder CM says - unable to open CDP for reading.

Regarding Post #7, does the DL ever start in the "black pages"? I'm downloading a 45 MB file now from the "black pages" and it is telling me it will take 2 hrs, 29 min at 4.86 KBS but it is downloading. I have the same problem in 2010 as you are having in TS12 with trying to install a CDP that is in the Internet Folder. I don't think the download is actually a full download.

The files are probably incomplete and need to be downloaded again. You need to clear your download list first then go into your CM login and force the server to update by retyping your username. Once all that's completed, your downloads should be fine.

Hello Ivan,

It sounds like there is some kind of data corruption too. Check that your ISP may not be corrupting the data by downloading a CDP from the old black pages version of the DLS using FTP. If your file is corrupted then as well, it's related to something external to you.

Well at least we can narrow things down.

Have you updated or changed your firewall recently? Ensure that Content Manger, TADDaemon, and Trainz has access through your firewall and see if that helps.

I have not touched my firewall since moving to Win 7 from XP. Also, firewall on my PC is disabled. Trainz, TADDaemon and CM have access trough it though.

That's good to know and very helpful.

This now narrows things down more to possibly your antivirus having a go at the files, or perhaps a recent Windows update that may have caused you some issues.

Check that your antivirus isn't munching CDPs by disabling the scan of them temporarily and see if that helps.

Did you ever tell us whether or not you have an active FCT? You will probably never be able to download using the CM without a FCT. Currently you can DL from the "black pages" at a very slow DL speed without a FCT. As of September 1, or whenever N3V changes their support, I don't believe you will be able to DL anything from the "black pages" without a FCT.
 
Don`t you know that you can download any content without FCT? I had nice working DLS last spring and downloaded items up to 26 MB without FCT, and now i can`t download items with weight more than 4 MB. I have TS12, which support is ending in September 2016. You have TS2010 and yes, support of it finishing this autumn. Be correct.

That is kinda not true.
As of September 2014, the support for TS2009 and TS2009 will stop. Those versions should than soon no longer be able to use Content Manager. They can still download material with a FCT via the black pages.
However...
If you have TS12 you are able to download without a FCT via Content Manager (of TS12) and via the black pages.
