OK - there are a few things to try:

1.Add the following line to your trainzoptions.txt file (c:/program files/auran/trs2006/trainzoptions.txt)

-intro=disable

2.Run TrainzDiag (c:/program files/auran/trs2006/bin/trainzdiag.exe) and check if any of the items are displaying as warnings.

If neither of these work, reply to this thread.

Yes I did both of them.. Nothing worked!

-DepthBits=24
-StencilBits=8
-fullscreen
-Jet=bin
-cabinfov=65
-driverfov=55
-DefaultAutoMip=none
-intro=disable

And everything passed for the Trainz Diag..

I'm in the Temporary IRC chat.. If you could go in.. It would mean a lot.

I don't have an IRC program - but I can offer a few other possibilities.

Firstly, did you have to install SP1?

Also, looking at the error message, the issue is relating to your graphics card (what are your system specs?)

I cannot advise further without your system specs.

Shane

How do I post my system specs? I did not install SP1.. because last time it took way too long.

The main information I need at the moment is operating system and memory (you can get both of these by right-clicking Computer, then choosing Properties)

Shane

EDIT: You mention you attempted to install SP1. I would advise re-installing TRS2006 first.

David,

Installing TRS2006 along with SP1 does not take very long.

1) Install the program. DO NOT RUN TRAINZ AT ALL.
2) Install the SP.

3) Reimport all your content from your local folder.

I highly recommend moving the local folder before reinstalling as this will decrease the amount of time it takes for the program to patch. When the patches are installed, they go through all the content you have as it rebuilds the database. By importing your content after the patch, you are ensuring that the patching process completes quickly.

To bring your content in, use File Import Content. Yes there are other ways, like moving the folder and deleting the Assets.tdx, but I find the File and import content method ensures that the content is installed properly.

Depending upon how much downloaded stuff you have, will determine how long the process takes.

Regarding TS2010 and patching. It appears that you munged stuff up by canceling the patching process. Patching takes a long time, and it's best to leave the system alone. Afterwards run an extended database repair even though the program does so when requested.

Any errors that will appear in Content Manager afterwards, are usually false, and are due to the database tables not being updated. Select the content, and choose view errors and warnings. This will usually remove any extraneous/false errors you may have.

Email me if you have any questions. I can call you if you want over-the-phone help.

I'm using Trainz 2006, I'm right now putting all my content found in the local.. to my desktop, I'm going to uninstall 2006, Then re-install 2006 with SP1 - If someone could link me, That would be awesome.

So after I install SP1, Do I just move my LOCAL folder and replace the Old Local Folder? Are there any other steps..? What should I do!

Cheers
David

Have you got the official Auran version, or one of the regional versions?

If it is the official Auran version, visit http://www.auran.com/TRS2006/ then hover over Downloads (on the left hand side), then click Service Packs to get to the relevant page.

If it is a regional version, check the website of the regional distributor for the update.
