Help!!!Is it possible to adjust the gradient of Highway road in Trainz 2010?

I found in surveyor you can adjust the height of vertices of Highway road splines, but there is no gradient adjustment option compared with rail tracks, so if I want to adjust the gradient of Highway road, how do I do? Got the length of that spline and do the math by myself? Could you experts give me some advice? Thank you?

Then is there any tool in surveyor that I can use to get the length of that piece of road or track? Thank you!

Sure. Use a ruler. Those are found on the Tools slide-out. This is the one with the wrench (spanner) on it.

If I need a road to have a certain gradient, I first put up a track along the road's path and then lock in the vertices (make them turn yellow). After that is done, you can substitute roadbed for track a vertex at a time and be done.
