Good afternoon all

I have a question for which I am sure someone here can answer. I have gone through the forums, used the advanced search and contacted a Wizard to no avail.

What does one "Height Unit" equal?

I did find one post that asked the question but the answer was vary vague.

Can anyone answer this?

Thanks
Pieter

I am sure it is in meters, thus 0.5 is 50cm, 0.01 is 1cm - I find useful when raising splines to a fixed amount accurately.

Yes I understand that. I did some hard digging and I believe 1 Height Unit is equal to 1 Meter (39.3700787401 inches). If anyone can confirm this, it will be much appreciated.

I herewith confirm that.

Just like the length unit is metric (a baseboard being 720x720 meters) the height unit is also metric.

Thank you all
This helps me maintain accuracy in height measurements.

Best to all

It depends on how you are using it. In a Thumbnails container or where the reference is to the user's screen (such as in some scripting object references) the height unit is pixels. Where it refers to the asset features, such as the height-range of a scenery asset or the height of the cone for a smoke particle effect, it is in metres.
