.sldprt - Solodworks part, proprietary, cannot load into older versions of software oce you open it with a newer version
.sldasm - assembly of solidparts, also prop.
.stp - general importable standard, but not easily editable.
There are more, lots more, but I don't think engineering components will work well as imported for trainz (ie, too much file detail for games). Besides, I don't think availible file formats will alllow it to be imported anyhow. Scripting, camera views, and attachment points would have to be included in a brand new, custom plugin that would come with the custom exporter, too.
I hear ya Constar, I want Soildworks to export too, but until someone smarter than both of us does something about exporter/extras, we're both dead in the water.
