Having problems opening trainz

Hi there
I just clicked on my icon to start trainz and about 10 seconds later the build number came up in black but nothing else that's all that came up just the build number and iv restarted my computer and its still doing that. iv also gone into :c programs auran ts and selected it from there but still doing the same. any ideas???

P.S this is trainz 2010 that im talking about.

Help would be greatly appreciated !!!

Might be time for an EDR, if you haven't already.

Have had the same problem since windows 7 64bit was reinstalled and updated. Im unable at present to get a lot of things to work correct and it all has to do with the latest windows. Have seen reports of this in both vista and windows 7 not allowing 32bit stuff to run correctly.

Install and run as administrator and to a path other than C:\Program Files (X86)\Auran\TS12.

I use C:\Auran\TS12 on my laptop with one drive, and D:\Auran\TS12 on my desktop PC with multiple drives.

The program runs fine using this method.
