Have you come across big houses... Mansions?

Morning All --

Maybe you guys can help me here, please -- I've typed in "Mansions" at the DLS, but nothing comes up, so I am going to ask the community if you have come across any big houses, mansions, etc ... please note down the kuids on this thread!

If you have visited my marsz blog you will see detail about my modules; So, I have this module idea: huge mansions inside encased huge domes for Earth high society (I need to pay the bills - they have deep pockets :hehe:)

I have all the pieces in place, super huge fans with blades that spin increasily fast to filter out the dust from inside the Dones, along with huge generators to give these dome oxygen and water, and also other generators to clean the carbon dioxide human's exhale --- Anyhow, big mansions -- please let me know if you know of any from the DLS -- #K uids!

One of the very first content I repaired on the cleanup list was along these lines:

Plantation House <KUID2:262137:90216:1>
DEC Estate Mansion With Pool And Court <KUID:59692:100088>

Although I don't think either of those was the one I repaired.
 
If you're looking for the modern suburban McMansion style, they're on my to-do list. I'll make one or two this weekend if that's what you need.

I uploaded one, RRS McMansion, Brick Georgian,<kuid:481384:127822>. Any idea what style you'd want for a second or third one? I have textures for another brick one, or can get some for vinyl, stucco, or some kind of mixture.

Ah, always up for a good joke, sir, LOL :hehe: -- It's all cool -- In fact, if people smile more often, and take things in strive, many forumism around here would be much happier!

Anyhow, thanks for these creations -- In fact, when I am done with the module I will post a note on this thread, since the screenshotz will be pasted on the Marsz Blog!

Also, I was thinking of using any creations that you made into this module alone -- then those kind folks that made other suggestions on this thread I will use their suggestions (kuids) on another module, a more moderate community! So, if you can span out more mansions that would be very cool -- Your time at home creating these items will be appreciated on Marsz, sir!

Don't forget to check for German, French etc. translations of the item you're looking for. Quite often this will bring up the type of object you're after as the creator has named them in their own language rather than English.

Also while I'm not sure if DLS search supports wildcards (*) if you input the item in the singular tense i.e. in this case mansion rather than mansions it will return both instances whereas mansions will not give you objects named in the singular. (I think).

Lol, awesome. Glad I could help; I'm a fan of the Marz project. As we speak I'm working on another McMansion which hopefully will be on the DLS by tomorrow night or the following one, and maybe I will have a third shortly thereafter.

I uploaded 8 more this morning. I received an acceptance notification this afternoon but it looks like it won't be until tomorrow night that they finish their journey through the electronic colon, as Euphod liked to put it. They are as follows:

RRS McMansion, Tan Stucco <KUID:481384:127829>
RRS McMansion, Tan Stucco inverted <KUID:481384:127830>
RRS McMansion, Gray Stucco <KUID:481384:127827>
RRS McMansion, Gray Stucco, inverted <KUID:481384:127826>
RRS McMansion, RARE Blue Stucco, inverted <KUID:481384:127828>

The first one is just a flipped version of the one you've been using. The rest are a new, stucco model based on a yellow house I photographed at the same time as the Georgian one, but was able to recolor easily. The blue one was somewhat of an accident, and you really don't see McMansions in that color, but I released one version of it just for fun. Some of the flipped/inverted models have slightly different nightmode effects.

I'll probably do one more fresh style for now, brick one that's a street over. Let me know if you need any other configurations. Once one style is built, changing it around a little to look different looks like it would actually be pretty easy - almost modular, even. Of course, once these post tomorrow, there will probably be a wider variety of houses available on the DLS than there is in most real-life McMansion housing developments...

Also, thanks for the offer, sir, but I am very happy with your creations - can't think of any configurations, etc ... Oh, wait a second ... perhaps a few more with out the garage door on the side -- since there's no cars on Marsz! LOL

BTW - I send a layout and 2 automatic sessions to the DLS -- a screenshot movie will displayed too -- But still waiting for the layout to becomes available at the DLS before making any statements, tho!
