Has anyone done the CSX Uteca Yard in Tampa, FL?

Last week I came across Leeferr's excellent routes and have been playing them a lot since then (thank you Leeferr for sharing such great stuff). Since I'm a long time fan of both the ACL and SAL this got me thinking of doing something CSX related. Searching the download station I see some CSX stuff but most of it is for stuff up north. At the moment we are living in Tampa, Florida, at MacDill AFB and the Uteca Yard just north of us. I searched the internet to see if anyone has done anything pertaining to the Uteca Yard but did not find anything. Before I start I wanted to check to see if I missed anything. Has the Uteca Yard already been done? If not then I will go ahead and do up a route with it. I'm looking at going from the Tropicana plant south of Tampa all the way north to the Uteca yard and also the west bound leg to Clearwater and St. Pete (I was born and raised in the area and spend many summer days at the Clearwater sub yard in the 80's).

Also, I will be doing this in TS2009. If I understand it correctly in order for the route to work with TRS2006 I need to make sure I set the terrain to 10m, not 5m. So my next question is about track. Normally I use the TS09 track but will that work in TRS2006? If not what would be a good track to use that would allow the TS2009 route to work with TRS2006 an still look good?

AS for the track, Search for MP track wood on the DLS. I am excited that someone is finally doing a route in Florida.

Thanks for the feedback on the track. I haven't messed with it before and just tried it out. Looks like a nice track. If it's TRS2006 friendly I will most likely use it. After reading another thread on the forums I saw the RBMN Shine and RBMN Rust track. Love the looks of it but since I don't think that would work too well in TRS2006 I will leave it alone.

As far as the route itself just don't get your hopes up too much as I have low standards. That and not much skill when it comes to making terrain and detailing it. Anyhow, I will most likely make it available in stages. First stage will be the yard itself before I add any scenery. Haven't decided if I will make it available via the DLS or put it up on my web site yet. Will worry about that when I get there.

As far as a Florida route I came across a thread the other day from another person on these forums that is doing something for the Miami and Homestead area. So I'm not the first one to do something from Florida.

I have been doing a parody route of the lines heading fro tampa to macdill afb, as well as a line to brooksville and one to st pete. it's been modified to be more of a spoof then an exact look a like. It has been done in TRS 2004. The line has tampa union station, conagra yard, autrack yard, usf industrial park even the port and the TN interlocking tower.
