Well, gee guys. I don't know what to say. Really, I'm speechless!
Here I was, thinking my birthday would slip by unnoticed here on the forums. I guess i must have something going for me, here. Normally it's only the people who contribute a lot to the community who get a birthday greeting.
Yeah, Happy birthday, and not to be rude but consider yourself lucky hardly anyone gets their b-days anounced. I didnt get mine, and know alot of other that didnt.

SPNGTyler, think nothing of it. I don't consider it rude at all. In fact, i said much the same thing myself. Normally the only people who get their birthdays announced are those people who have contributed significant amounts of first-class content to the community, through the DLS or third party sites.
I am actually quite flattered that the announcement made it to a separate thread in the Trainz Community forum, rather than just a message or two in the Australian Screenshots thread, where i normally hang out.
I mean no offense/disrespect to those who have posted b'day wishes thus far, but i really do not think that i deserve to be singled out like this. I have put three small routes on the DLS, but that hardly deserves this sort of recognition from people. Especially when you consider one of them was not even finished!:hehe::hehe:
Anyway, a very happy (albeit belated) Birthday to you SPNGTyler, and also to Eboy87 and Josefpav, who also celebrate their birthdays today.
I have seen others who mention they get no birthday wishes either and their not sure why. One of the main reason why is that they have not included there Date of Birth in their Auran Profile. As Matt points out the other 2 members sharing a birthday today, all of them appear at the bottom of Forum home page and therefore we/others know about them. I notice only Matt, myself and Trent show their Birthdays in their profiles.
I also agree with Matt about where Birthday wishes should be. I look at the Birthday list each day and normally post appropriately, so in Matt's case I would have posted in the Aussie Screenshot thread as I have done before for others. While for those who have been great contributors to the Forum and/or the DLS I may post in the Community Section of the Forum.
Either way, if I see a thread wishing someone a Happy Birthday I will post in the thread as (to me) we are all "family" in a way, we are a very special "Community".
