I don't remember, but so few birthdays actually mean anything, the eighteenth is quite significant! You have about twenty two more years to really, really taste life! Make the most of it my friend...;)

Not really...life continues to expose different treasures as you age, but my point is this: The vitality, the awe born of discovery, the bright, visceral enjoyment of new experiences seems to dull a bit after the age of forty. A certain cynicism sneaks in, a scepticism born of maturity if you will.

I've only just read that it's your 18th birthday today young man.......Heartiest congratulations on reaching that ripe old age......:hehe:
They do say Mike all the best guys have a birthday in May, mine's in a couple of weeks time, so enjoy yourself and don't go too mad, you've got the rest of your life for getting drunk and married and having kids and retiring.....It'll all go very quickly....:hehe:

i heard a radio station around me say that once on the air lol. me and my cousin got lafing after we heard that because it expected to hear something like that on the Grand Theft Auto series lol
