Grouping elements in Surveyor

Hi:

In Surveyor mode, when you want to select a Diessel locomotive, for instnce, or you know its name or you need to see one by one all the rolling elements, all loco, vagons... etc until you find one that complains with your spectations. Same happen with Objects, in this case the number of elements is very large and all, Stations, city building, country building, farm elements, vehicles...., are mixed and in alphabetic order, so to browse and find one is a very worry task.

Do you know a trick to solve it?

IDK about Ipad,but if it like others PC's In surveyor Click on the 3rd semble from the main menu (the pick list) here you can drag and drop what every you like from any of the flyout
to the right.
Now at the top of the pick list there a search window type in a few lettles will shorten the list,clicking on the + you name CL on name you can scroll down to region.
In the seach type in boxcar will give you a list of all boxcars you have installed.(so on so forth)

Does this pick list change? I mean can I use it to store sets of things, or is it one long list?

yes you can have a list of boxcars a list of hoppers and so on.
