Gresley A1/A3 Loco Cab - TS2009 & TS2010

I have installed the Gresley A1 and A3 Locos, BR and LNER Green, plus the Gresley A1/A3/A4 cab interiors for both, but the cabs remain empty (plain grey). This occurs in TS2009 and TS2010. Can anyone help an 'old newbie' on how to amalgamate the two so that the loco has the cab interior?

If I understand your question correctly -the cab view is only visible when you press 1. Adding the interior does not change the external appearance of the loco in view 2 (the normal view)

Thank you for your response Stovepipe. Clearly my knowledge of Trainz is very limited, as I'm unable to understand your references to 'press 1' and 'press 2'. Essentially: unlike '9f Evening Star' for example, which has a cab interior and drivers, whether in 'Railyard' view or in 'Surveyor' and 'Driver' external views the Gresley locos have no detail in the cab, such as driver controls, firebox etc. The cab interior is plain grey, i.e. the loco is incomplete.

Sounds like missing assets to me. Are these the Jetstreamski locos, 4468 kuid?

Pressing 1 and 2 means being in Driver and alters your viewpoint from Chase to Internal mode. 3 I think is Camera view, but you need to place cameras for that to work and then make them either moving or static.

These are the Gresley locos and cab by 'paulhobbs', including kuid2:44090:1026:5 and kuid2:44090:55023:1, all of which are apparently installed, but when viewed in the Railyard and in Sessions are only plain grey in the cab area.

Thanks

Okay,
I had some problems with the others in 2006 and TC3, which is why I asked.

I also have these locos, I just love good steamers!

Cheers,

Ok just to restate what I said before - the fact that a loco has an interior or cab, does not determine how the loco looks from the outside in Driver, Surveyor or Railyard.

The interior is used when you are driving from the cab, view 1. An explanation of the views is in the manual - it's essential reading if you want to get the most out of the game - press manual on the launcher screen.

Some locos have crew and better detail of the cab area than other locos. This loco by Paul Hobbs is pretty old and doesn't represent the best of what is available now.

Thanks Stovepipe. I had read the manual (and have it printed out for quick reference), but it does not differentiate between interior (cab view) and exterior view of the cab with regard to the visual presentation. As I find using a keyboard difficult I still use the 'action buttons' in the top right of the game interface, hence am still learning all the 'shortcuts'. All I wanted was to view the loco as Gresley intended, i.e. complete. Thank you and Angela for your patience..!
BTW, both yours and Angela's current projects look good onscreen.

It may not be as Gresley intended it to be, but that's how I intended it to look. The inside cylinder, connrod and crank axle are missing as well, also a shed load of rivets and the washout plugs.

Thank you Paul. You've confirmed that there's no errors in the software (and that my novice attempts have not created errors..!)
In my humble view your Gresley is still one of the best looking locos in the yard..! For that I thank you most sincerely.
