Greetings and a question

Hi all,

Just joined as I'm looking to get back into Trainz (had the 2004 version years ago but lost interest, got the 'bug' back now!).
I'm trying to decide which version to get and have decided I'm going to go with either the 2006 or 2009 version (based on cost and my system specs) but have a quick query:
On Amazon UK there is an Ultimate 2006 Edition which includes Trainz Routes Vol 1-4 but is obviously an older version of the game so I've also looked at Trainz 2009 which I understand contains all content from previous versions of Trainz. My question is does 2009 also include the Routes 1-4 packs or would I have to purchase/DL them separately (I'm fussy I know but I just want a variety of stock routes to run on)
Thanks in advance.

Andrew

2009 is the last version I would buy. 2010 has everything you need, including lot's of routes, has the capacity to use older content in compatibility mode, and can be used to take advantage of multiplayer. 12 offers some advantages over 10, but also is short on content and does not have compatibility mode. I have all three, and 2010 is about the most well rounded of them all.
