Great Western Variety Pack

I have recently downloadded the above from Railwaves and have found that the lights on the Stations ie Reading etc do not light up. Has anybody else the same problem? Is there anything I can do or are they not supposed to light? I have TS2009 installed. I have even downloaded and reinstalled the pack again and still the same problem exists. Any ideas anyone?

Any idea why none of mine on that download do not. All my other stations do its just the one on the Great Western Pack.

Hi Ivan.
I would try directly contacting the site to see if they can help resolve your problem as my experience with them is that they will go to any lengths to oblige.

I have bought quite lot of payware from Railwaves and found it to be really good quality backed up by great service. When I first tried to purchase from the site I initially had trouble registering and then found the site was not accepting payment for the locomotives I was buying online. I e-mailed the owner who e-mailed me back within half an hour with the solution to my problem and then went to the trouble of ringing me directly next day.

As stated, since then I have bought quite a lot of engines, carriages and signals from the site which all has been of excellent quality with no problems whatsoever. The only thing I wish is that they did more content for Trainz 2010 because I always support organizations which produce quality and service for customers.

The above is more than can be said for some payware content creators whose rubbish items and even bigger rubbish service still sticks in the memory from previous purchases. I would emphasize that I have no direct connection whatsoever with the railwaves site

Hopefully if they send a fix to you, you might not need to change your stations, fingers crossed.

I changed mine, and they look ok, but they are not as good as the railwaves ones, I only wish they would light up.

If all else fails, you could use the light pools available on the DLS. I use them in some situations where lamps wouldn't fit.

Not a fix I know, but it is a reasonable option.

Thank you pfx for the work around, I just wish there was something in the config file that could be entered to enable the lights and buildings to light up, but the work around sounds like the best idea at the moment.

Tried the pool lights but its not the same I will have to replace the stations with ones that light up. Pity though.

Have now received an answer from Railwaves who have informed me that the Stations included in this pack ie. Reading etc. DO NOT LIGHT up.

I looked at their site and I can't find anything stating that the stations do have a night mode.
