Ah Ballarat! I have fond memories of stopping in Ballarat enroute from Westernport to Adelaide (500 miles) for fish and chips while driving home from weekend leave back in the early '70's. I believe the freeway bypasses it these days. The fish and chip shop is probably gone and replaced by Maccas.
