Good UK 2 Track?

If you are using TS2009 you could just replace your existing track with the new one of your choice by using the "Replace Assets" option. Make a copy of your route first though in case disaster strikes!
Many people say "don't use 2 track" for various reasons.....
Oh - and holding down the "Shift" key when placing track (and other spline objects) will stop the snapping together.

Two-track assets can't be replaced using the replace assets tool; they are considered to be bridges just like interactive industries.
I've been able to change the track by selecting a similar single-track version, but the change doesn't "stick" and upon reopening up the route or session again, the track is like it was before the change. Because of that issue, I went along and manually replaced double track with single track.
The replacing process isn't too bad. I kept a small section of double track and connected the single track to it. Then I replaced the small double-track with the single tracks. I repeated this process over the length of the mainline, and had everything done in about 2 hours. I also took the opportunity to fix othert things I saw along the way like floating roads, and bad track gradings where the track was floating above the ground in a few places. It was like a track work crew was out there working on the main.

I have a good track i use a lot
Just search for Uk wooden in Trainz 2009 track bit and theres a choice. You can have triple track, 4 track, single or double, in wood or normal. i use it all the time
