good site for free american steam?

the stuff is in red lettering, and seems to be non usable. there's no preview pic, and you can't place it on the rails

Could you post what errors Content Manager shows, etc.? His stuff was made for TRS2004, so it might have errors in the latest versions of Trainz.

Yes, the assets that are common to more than one of his locomotives come in seperate packs from the locomotives themselves. The packs with common dependencies are found on his website above each group of locomotives.

I have that one, and have had it for quite a while. It is Billegulla's NZGR K-class enginesound. Grab it from the DLS at the following link:

bdaneal mentions that some of the locomotives need that enginesound from the DLS on his Generic Downloads page.

I had no problem when I just test-downloaded that enginesound via FTP. It took the DLS page that were necessary to get to the download link a little long to load, but once I clicked the link to download it via FTP, it zoomed right on through. Maybe Content Manager is angry at you. Try downloading it via FTP, and you will get it (if you have an FCT).

maybe you could try trainz zone and get the K class engines(not the 2-4-2 but a 4-8-4 type) with the sound included with the engines!

Keep working at it PC as I got bdaneal's locomotives chugging right along in T2010 EE. They look great on the route I'm slowly building.
