Good layouts as backgrounds for newly created assets

I've been using George Fisher's lovely Cattaraugus Creek & Lake Erie layout as a screenshot setting for many of my creations over the past year. It's set in north east USA in early winter.

I wouldn't mind a change of scene.

Can anyone nominate different layouts I could use? I'm interested in routes set in other lands and in other seasons that would provide highly detailed and authentic backgrounds for pics of my objects.

Must be on the DLS, readable by TRS2004 and I highly prefer those that have all 3rd party assets on the DLS too.

Are we allowed to nominate our own routs? :wave:
I have lots of screen shots on my website (link in my signature) The route is called "Alberta Run" and is all available on the DLS. Its a large route and will take you a long time to see it all. The route goes through the prairies of Alberta, Canada into both cities of Edmonton and Calgary and through the Canadian Rockies.
By the way it was made in TRS '06 I have not tried it in '09 as I do not have it.

Many times on the DLS there are 2 or more duplicate assets or routes. In this case there are 2 Alberta Run routes...why 2 ? One has a description, one says UL style, both have no known size....I am downloading it to take a look at the Field BC to Lake Louise BC-Kicking Horse Pass-Spiral Loops. Thanks

use the newer one the older one is far smaller and has allot less stuff to see. The one at the top of the list is always the newer one. I dont know what happend to the picture (the newer route) as it was there when I uploaded it otherwise it would have been rejected. The file sises are listed on the DLS see here and do a search for "alberta run"

Yes it does only in the new version, however it is not prototypical.

I forgot to say it must be readable by TRS2004. Have amended my original note to that effect.
