Trying to setup a container intermodal industry on my route, had everything going utilizing the TTX Husky freeware from JR. Got the industry setup, got the containers in the cars, relocated the yard and multi industry new, then problems.

Cars don't load
now when you click on them they don't show the product details merely vehicle title and session info (standard page)

the wonderful little bug icon sprouts up whenever I place these on a track--and these specifically.

Looked up the info under content mgr and:
under the husky stack SKINS listing it says: "required container thumbnails is missing and something about an obsolete trainz version. I also get a stack dump message and trainz.gs 1474 or something similar.

I had these things working, and now if I place them in a consist on my route they form a consist on a hidden layer that can be seen in mini map mode.

I have experienced this similar problem with the ATSF SD45 by Justin Cornell, the SP SD40T-2, SP SD45, and really I have no idea what is going on here. Lost out on running some good locos on my game and really this is becoming very annoying to say the least. (Loco will appear but doesn't display proper info, and if I save and come back it has vanished but still shows up as a hidden consist).

maybe it's something I am doing unknowingly.

First method of resolution:

Merge your session layer with your route layer. (Remove the loco's and rollingstock first). It's quite likely you have accidentally put your industry on the session layer which would break it.

As for the bug itself, it sounds like the industry was build before Trainz 2.0. Open it up in Content Manager and fix any Red Cross Bugs that appear.

did you install anything else or make changes to files? somehow i think thats not the whole story there. you are mixing things in your description of the problem. CMP will show you those warnings, but they are not related. you cannot get a stack dump in CMP, so i am assuming you see this when placing the car in surveyor. now from what you listed that you experienced problems with, the only thing that relates to all of them (besides me creating them) is http://www.jointedrail.com/index.php?option=com_acfilepayments&view=download&Itemid=704

try installing that, and see if it works. report back here.

I reinstalled everything, and thumbnails are still missing for the weathered husky stack cars. But, the regular ones are working, however, interestingly enough the 53ft containers are working in "LM" mode because of some sort of attachment point issue. Perhaps some of this content is not supported in this version of trains? I never modified anything outside of what I wanted the well cars to carry in surveyor mode.

I certainly hope that I can avoid further issues because these well cars are certainly nice. My apologies, I was very tired last night when I wrote the initial post, and frankly was confused as to what had gone wrong.

One TS12 patch introduced a couple new bugs including missing icons, I haven't tried the most recent but it allegedly fixes the "missing icons" bug.
