Gonna Miss That A60.....

A60 has always been workings V/Line trains. It's just that it is one of the A class locos available for the Stony Point (or was...).

It will probably run Bacchus Marsh and Geelong service (I think A's run those ones, not sure :s ).

No doubt I'll get myself kicked across the continent for asking this, but why does this locomotive look so much like an EMD-F7A?

Because all covered wagons look about the same. This one has two fronts instead of one, otherwise it looks like an EMD to me, too.
I suspect British Trainzers are reminded of a more English prototype.

I actually like that diesel rail car. (sorry) The A-60 is an awful lot of locomotive just to pull two cars. With current fuel costs, there's no way it can pay it's own way like that.

Because they are an EMD built loco :)

The original locos (B class):

The rebuilt locos (A class):

They are fairly different to the F series locos, but do have a similar nose. In fact, even the nose is different :P

We also had these:

But anyway I must Say Good bye and say hello to this new bus on rails!:hehe:

Good Bye to the BEAST!
